All children while at Little Angels are treated as individuals to enable each of them to reach their full potential. Little Angels supplies them with a safe, secure and homely environment that will help them develop and grow.

Each child will be given opportunities to experience and take part in activities which will help him or her to learn new things and develop new skills; to grow and become independent. Your child will meet other children and learn how to share and respect others as well as themselves.

Parents and carers will be encouraged to contribute to their child's development and learning, and will always be informed of their child's progress and what activities they have been doing. We believe working very closely with parents/carers we can help a child learn about themselves, each other and the world around them.

There are 3 of us that work within Little Angels, all of which have BTEC's in Childcare and have First Aid certificates. We also have ongoing training, so that we can gain new skills and knowledge to help each individual child to grow and develop in a healthy environment.

On 10th November 2005 we had an Ofsted inspection which awarded Little Angels as an Outstanding practice in every area of our work. On the 20th February 2008 our Childminding practice was also awarded an Outstanding practice in every area. We continue to work hard to keep our standards high and our children and parents/carers happy. Ofsted Daycare Report

Little Angels is open from 8.00am until 6.00pm, Monday to Friday - except on Bank Holidays and between Christmas and New Year. As it is run from home we are able to be flexible with opening hours if needed.

We are a registered Daycare during the hours 9.00am until 5.30pm term time, and registered Childminder before and after school, as well as in school holidays. We are open to all children from the age of 3 months until 11 years and can take and collect children from the local school. We are registered to have 15 children under the age of 8 at any one time during our day care sessions and 12 children under the age of 8 during our childminding sessions.

A hot meal can be provided, or children can bring their own lunch. A snack is provided during the morning and afternoon sessions. Breakfast, snacks and dinners are an additional cost.

We accept a variety of Childcare vouchers as payment and are registered to take the Nursery Education Funding for every child the term after your child turns 3yrs old.

If you would like any more information or would like to visit, then please contact Mrs Nicola Welsh at Little Angels.
